  1. THE CLOUD OVER MY HEAD BEGAN TO GROW.

I initially tried the Philips Magnavox TB100MW9 – Digital TV tuner = AT OVERSTOCK $35 and then connected it to the Antenna/hdtv/fm Hd Radio Indoor Radio Shack antenna = $25

AFTER DOUBLE CHECKING MY INSTALLATION TECHNIQUE(S),

I COULD ONLY RECEIVE 1 LOCAL CHANNEL FOR $60 USD!

    I quickly returned both items.

SUDDENLY, A SURREAL-BRIGHT GLISTENING RAINBOW APPEARED THROUGH THE FILTHY COBWEBBED MESH SCREEN, WHICH IS CURRENTLY RESIDING- HALFWAY UNATTACHED TO MY NORTH FACING LIVING ROOM WINDOW…..

    ALAS!

    AMAZON.COM PREVAILS, ONCE AGAIN.

I bought the $50 Tivax STB-T8 Digital to Analog TV Converter Box and then connected it to the $36 Terk HDTVa Indoor Amplified High-Definition Antenna for Off-Air HDTV Reception

THE TOTAL, ONE TIME PURCHASE PRICE IS A MERE $86 DOLLARS,

    FOR OVER 25 LOCAL CHANNELS!

NOW HOW DO I DISMANTLE THESE 4+ CHRISTIAN CHANNELS?

THE PICTURE IS GREAT WITH LITTLE FADING.

    THE INSTALLATION WAS SIMPLE.

I ONLY NEED ONE REMOTE FOR THIS TV.

THE TIVAX REMOTE CHANGES THE VOLUME AND CHANNELS ON MY TV.

They mislead me into thinking the power for the signal booster comes from the my existing cable, great! What is actually needed is to plug in the supplied AC/DC converter and install this 6″ length of powered cable inline with the antennae cable, crap!

Opon arrival i hooked it up and tryied it out on my brand new 32 inch flat screen sony, thought i could beat the hd pay for it scam. Comcast offers like 10 channels of HD for an extra 10 dollars a month, by the time i break down the times of the shows, the actual shows which blow, and the time i have to watch them i figured that i might as well buy the antenna to see what happens for free. Well nothing Happened, and now im stuck with this 30 dollar antenna that prommised the world. Maybey its my area, but i got notthing. 20 min of foolin around with this thing, trying differnt angles, positins, plugs, FORGET it.

I received this product in the mail today. I was very disappointed to find that there was no coax “in” for my cable tv. Bottom line, since my TV only has one coax connection, if I want to use this antenna I have to buy a switch to let me toggle between the antenna and cable.

I’ll be returning it, similar products have this compatability.

    Not rating on its reception…

    - Base is not balanced, always have to struggle with it when you’re adjusting to get a better signal. It will tip over because of the skinny base.

-two metal anntenneas are poorly made, both of mine are already bent from a few adjustments.

    - this is not amplified..for the price of this item, it SHOULD be amplified. So reception of analog channels are usually poor.
